Legislation extending cocktails-to-go until December 31, 2023 passed both houses and awaits the governor’s signature. The governor must sign by June 2nd as the law will sunset then.

SB 104 which would extend cocktails-to-go passes the Illinois house, it goes to the Senate for concurrence and then needs to be signed by the Governor by June 2, 2021.

Illinois’ cocktails-to-go law is set to expire June 2, 2021. Fortunately, SB104 would extend cocktails-to-go until December 31, 2023.

The City of Chicago announced that starting tomorrow restaurants and bars can operate at 75% occupancy. Six feet social distancing must be maintained.
Licensees in Chicago can operate within their regular liquor license hours.
Table/party sizes can be increased 10 per table.
