The Forest Park review reported that the Illinois Liquor Control Commission rescinded Forest Park’s 20 day suspension of Lantern Haus. As the attorney for Lantern Haus, I am ecstatic with the result and glad the media covered this story. I was also happy to contribute to this news story.
The ILCC ruled that my client took adequate precautions and was unfairly penalized in the initial ruling that suspended their license for 20 days. The ILCC ruled that the local liquor commissioner acted against the manifest weight of the evidence, and the ILCC decided to reverse the suspension.
As the ruling occurred last August, I am happy that my client has this issue behind them and I was honored to help my client to this place.
