Petition for En Banc Rehearing Denied in Lebamoff 6th Circuit Wine Shipping Case
The Sixth Circuit denied to petition for an en banc rehearing in the Lebamoff v. Whitmer case. This case challenged Michigan’s wine shipping law which allowed in-state retailers to ship to Michigan customers but denied this same privilege to out-of-state customers.

Petition for en banc hearing filed in the 6th Circuit Wine Shipping Case
Lebamoff’s legal team filed a petition for en banc rehearing with the 6th Circuit today. Michigan prevailed at a three-judge panel on a lawsuit which challenged the constitutionality of their wine retailer shipping law, Michigan allows in-state retailers to ship to Michigan consumers but denies that privilege to out-of-state retailers.
